According to new reports, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is going to be 2019's Call of Duty iteration, right one year after the launch of the just announced and properly revealed Black Ops 4.

It’s been a little over a year since Prop Hunt arrived in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered as nothing more than a silly, April Fools’ Day weekend event. Since then, it’s become a permanent institution in three different games in the series. You might think it would be too much of a good thing, but the mode still holds strong as a fan favorite in 2018.
The new Weekend Warfare mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered might actually be one of the most ill-conceived and unbalanced game modes in the franchise’s history.
After a fan vote on Twitter, “Prop Hunt” is now a permanent part of Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer. The ridiculous hide ‘n seek mode allows players to blend into the maps as scenery, while the opposing team attempts to find them. Prop Hunt beat the “Slasher” mode in a landslide, proving fans want to play as trash forever.
Two beloved game modes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered—Prop Hunt and Slasher—may become permanent additions depending on fan votes.
